Data Architect: The Big Picture
As our Senior Database Administrator, you'll be our data architect extraordinaire, building and maintaining secure databases for our clients. You'll be a consultant too, helping them design the best possible architecture for their systems.You know everything about ETL and Data Warehouses, Backup Policies, Disaster recovery, Performance Tuning, Optimization, on premise or in the Cloud.

Got the Skills?

• A Bachelor's degree in a field like Computer Science, Data Analytics, or IT (think strong foundation in data).
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, wielding the power of backups, security, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of programming languages for the job (PL/SQL, scripts are a plus).
• Bonus points for experience with other databases (MS SQL, MySQL) and cloud services (OCI, AWS).
• Certifications that prove your database expertise are a definite perk (think Oracle or Azure badges).
• Experience with Apache Tomcat and ORDS is a bonus.
• You can speak geek with network and system engineers to design top-notch architectures (think databases, web servers, and firewalls working together seamlessly).
• Communication skills sharper than a Swiss Army knife (gotta keep clients informed).
• English and Dutch fluency are a must (Papiamentu a plus).
